Welcome

Everyone has times of difficulty.  Some problems which life throws us are particularly tough.

You may have been trying to figure things out on your

own; or perhaps confided in people you are close to; both

of which can be helpful. But there are points when it's valuable to speak with someone who is objective and trained in these matters.

For many, considering professional help may feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable. However, mental health is increasingly understood to be an intrinsic component of healthcare; and central to our physical health. Most of us can benefit from therapy at some point in our lives.

The therapeutic relationship provides an opportunity to share issues of concern or confusion in a supportive, non-judgmental space; and be curious and reflective together.  It is unlike relationships with family or friends which are complicated by others’ needs or agendas; the focus is solely on understanding and helping you.  My priority in my practice is to provide this quality of relationship which helps in and of itself: and builds the trust necessary to identify and address your wished-for change.
